JI Amir Hafiz Naeem has said how the industries will run and common man will flourish unless petrol prices are reduced and electricity tariff is further curtailed. He said this in a press conference held here Saturday.
Welcoming reduction in electricity tariff he said it is beginning and not end.
What was done in the past every government was included in it, he said adding all the governments including PML-N, PPP and PDM extended help to IPPs.
Those who have played with the country will have to be brought before the nation.
He observed the salaried class is payment taxes the most. Salaried class will pay Rs 500 billion tax while feudal class will pay only Rs 5 billion tax. We had demanded in dharna tax slab be revised. IPPs don’t even pay tax. IPPs are given exemption from taxes.
We know it who are IPPs people. Government should reduce price of petrol too, he demanded. The benefit of reduction in price of petroleum products in international market should be given to people of Pakistan too. However government increases levy on petroleum products which is not acceptable to us.
