HRCP organises on-day workshop for Peshawar-based journalists

PESHAWAR: The Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP) organized a one-day workshop in a local hotel Peshawar for the journalist’s community. A number of Peshawar based journalists from electronic and print media participated in the workshop. The resource person, Muhammad Saqib Tanveer said that there was a need to increase the capacity of journalists in social media skills. He informed journalists about the new skill about the use of social media for accessing accurate and authentic information during reporting. The resource person also shed light over the importance and need of role in highlighting the issues of the itinerant, known as Kochi, community in accessing CNIC. Later on, HRCP awarded certificates to the participants. DLP Report
