ICC T20 World Cup trophy reaches Lahore

LAHORE: Former Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Akhter holds the trophy of ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 during the trophy tour at the Gaddafi Cricket Stadium in the Provincial Capital. The 2024 tournament will be hosted by the West Indies and the US from June 1 to June 29, 2024.

The ICC T20 World Cup trophy reached Lahore on Saturday ahead of the mega event, slated to happen jointly in the United States and West Indies from June 1.
According to details, the trophy was exhibited at the National Cricket Academy (NCA). The trophy will also be exhibited during the final T20I match between Pakistan and New Zealand today at the Gaddafi Stadium.
The ICC World T20 Cup trophy, which is scheduled to tour 15 countries, will leave Pakistan tonight after its three-day tour of the country. The trophy was also exhibited in Islamabad and Abbottabad.
Earlier, the trophy tour was started in the United States. The trophy reached Pakistan from the West Indies.
