ICCI demands govt to follow Quaid’s vision to make Pakistan a strong economy

President Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) Muhammad Shakeel Munir has called upon the government to follow Qauid’s vision for making Pakistan a strong economy of the region.
ICCI President said that implementing the economic vision of Quaid-e-Azam was a key requirement to make Pakistan a self-reliant, progressive and prosperous country. He said that from the very beginning, Quaid-e-Azam had stressed for developing a strong industrial base besides promoting agriculture and other sectors to reduce Pakistan’s dependence on others.
He emphasized that the whole nation including the business community should follow the Quaid’s golden principles to make Pakistan a strong and rising economy.
Senior politician and former Senator Syed Zafar Ali Shah said that Quaid-e-Azam had termed commerce & trade as the life-blood of the economy and had urged for working with honesty & integrity to make Pakistan a hallmark of good standard and quality in the marketplaces of the world. He said the birthday of Quaiid-e-Azam reminded us to act upon the Quaid’s vision to make Pakistan a prosperous country.
Baser Daud, President, Islamabad Founder Lions Club stressed that the government should accord high priority to promoting trade and industry. He said that the government should focus on promoting ease of doing business and take all possible measures to address the key issues of the business community for economic revival of the country.
Jamshaid Akhtar Sheikh Senior Vice President, Faheem Khan Vice President ICCI and others also spoke at the occasion. They said that Quaid-e-Azam had stressed for eradicating the illiteracy and providing the best possible training to technicians, scientists, businessmen and other professionals to produce trained and professional manpower.
They urged that the government should pay heed to these principles of Quaid-e-Azam and establish a strong network of vocational & technical training institutes across the country to produce trained and skilled manpower that would help in putting the country on the path of sustainable economic growth.
