Hundreds of class four employees of the education department staged a protest rally outside Mardan press club in favor of their demands.
The protest rally was lead by President Khair Muhammad alias Mehtamam, General Secretary Gul Muhammad Sangar, Vice President Hazrat Sher and other office bearers. Large numbers of class four of the education department participated in the rally.
Later on, addressing a news conference at Mardan press club, the speaker said that the government has announced a weather allowance in January but hasn’t yet been received.
They added that despite having a percentage quota, no class four has been promoted for 30 years. There are highly educated and double MA employees among the class four employees, so they should be promoted.
They added that Class IV employees are kept in the surplus pool, so these surplus employees should be allocated to the new posts. They warned that if the government did not solve their problems then they would be forced to start a protest movement in this regard.
