IG-KP inaugurates blood donation camp at Mardan Police line

The Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhutunkhwa (IGP-KP) Moazzam Jah Ansari said on Thursday that real purpose of life is serve humanity and perform their duty with utmost honesty.
He expressed these views during an inauguration ceremony of three-day blood donation camp at Police Line Mardan.
The blood donation camp was organized by district police Mardan in collaboration with Fatmeed Foundation, Frontier Foundation and Mardan Medical Complex.
The inauguration ceremony of the blood donation camp was attended by the lawmakers of the provincial assembly, senior police officers, and civil society representatives of the district.
On the occasion, IGP Moazzam Jah Ansari said that the real purpose of life is to serve humanity, adding that blood donation is an ongoing charity which can save the precious life of a needy person.
He said that KP police have rendered unprecedented sacrifices in line of duty to maintain law and order situation.
In the future, these children will play their role in the development and prosperity of the country by becoming doctors, engineers, police and useful people, he added.
IGP said that it was the responsibility of the government of the day to bring all departments and civil society on one platform to advance health and education facilities and play its role in making every child of Pakistan a safe, productive and responsible person.
Moazzam Jah Ansari said that National Eradication (NET) kits have been set up across the province for eradication of drugs.
On this occasion, RPO Mardan Yaseen Farooq, DPO Dr Zahidullah, DSP Adnan Azam and police personnel also participated in the blood donation camp and donated blood.
