IG-KP lauds roleof Elite Force for internal defense

The Inspector Generalof Police (IGP) Moazzam JahAnsari on Friday appreciated the role of elite force, adding the force has established high traditions of sacrificeand duty for the internal defense of the country. He expressed these views whilespeaking as a special guest on the occasion of the passing out parade of theparticipants of the Basic Elite Course No 1 of the merged districts at theElite Police Training Center Nowshera.
Commandant Elite Force, Deputy CommandantElite Force, Principal Elite Police Training Center, District Elders and civiland police officers participated in the event in large numbers. The police chief said thatbravery, courage and bravery are in the blood of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police andespecially elite force men have set the highest examples of sacrifice andsacrifice for the prevention of terrorism and suppression of miscreants.
The IGP said that the history of KPPolice is full of timeless stories of martyrs and ghazisand whose brave soldiers have raised flags of success against those who rob thesleep and peace of the people.
The IGP told the participants ofthe parade that with the high training received here, they should narrow theground on terrorists, anti-social elements and criminals in their respectivedistricts.
The IGP appreciated the quality ofthe parade of cops from the mergeddistricts who proved their mettle by successfully completing the rigorous andchallenging vocational training in the scorching heat.

Earlier, Commandant Elite Force Mohammad WasalFakhr Sultan delivered the welcome speech and explained the training providedto the soldiers including combat firing, heavy weapons firing, rappelling, ropecrossing, weapon training, physical training and non-military training. On this occasion, the NMDspersonnel gave practical demonstrations of combat firing, heavy weapons firingand rappelling acquired during the training.
607 personnel from South Waziristan, NorthWaziristan, FR Bannu sub-division and Karam participated in the elite force ofjawans from the merged districts. Ahmadwali of South Waziristan, Hafeezullah ofFR Bannu district, Shahid of North Waziristan district and Mohammad Umar ofKaram district were awarded the overall best performance.
The IGP applied elitewings to the company commanders of the elite force while the principal of theschool administered the oath of office to the passing out youths. TheCommandant Elite Force presented a special sonior to the IGP. Earlier, on reaching the Police TrainingCenter Nowshera, a well-armed squad of police saluted the IGP.
