IG-KP opens modern police facilitation center in Haripur

Inspector General of Police (IGP) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Zulfiqar Hameed, on Wednesday inaugurated a Police Facilitation Center in Haripur district to provide multiple public services under one roof.
The IGP visited Haripur where the inauguration ceremony was attended by Regional Police Officer Hazara, Nasir Mehmood Satti, District Police Officer Haripur, Shafiullah Gandapur, and other senior police officers. On the occasion, the DPO briefed the IGP on the administrative affairs and operational features of the newly established facility.
According to a statement, the newly established Police Facilitation Center Haripur is equipped with modern facilities and will offer services including issuance of character certificates (domestic and foreign), police clearance certificates, provision and collection of tenancy agreement (TIF) forms, a dedicated foreigner desk, and registration of reports for lost documents.
During the visit, the IGP inspected various service counters and reviewed the facilities being provided to citizens. He appreciated the efforts of Haripur Police and said that providing essential services to the public at their doorstep is a top priority of KP police.
He added that such initiatives would help reduce the gap between the police and the public, strengthen mutual trust, and improve service delivery across the province.
