The first meeting of the Internal Quality Circle (IQC) was held today at Khushal Khan Khattak University, Karak (KKKUK), marking a significant step toward enhancing institutional standards and academic rigor.
The meeting, attended by academic and sectional heads, was moderated by the Deputy Director of the Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC), Dr. Nasir Iqbal, who presented a comprehensive agenda focused on structural improvements and future planning.
Addressing the forum, the Vice Chancellor emphasized that the university is entering a phase of strict adherence to quality benchmarks. He underscored that the institution’s primary mission extends beyond traditional teaching to the holistic development of the student body.
“There will be no compromise on the quality of education and student discipline,” the Vice Chancellor stated. “Our focus must remain steadfast on the moral and character-building of our students. To achieve better outcomes, we must work as a unified team, ensuring seamless coordination between all departments and administrative sections.”
The IQC members deliberated on and officially approved several foundational documents aimed at streamlining university operations including approval of the draft rules for conducting future IQC meetings to ensure transparency and efficiency, Formal adoption of the ToRs for the Internal Quality Circle and approval of the annual roadmap for quality-related activities and academic benchmarks for the upcoming session.
The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks from Director QEC, Dr. Muhammad Anwar. He expressed his gratitude to all participants for their professional input and extended special thanks to the Vice Chancellor for his leadership, valuable time, and vision in steering the university toward global quality standards.
