Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi chaired a high-level meeting with senior police officers to review security affairs, police training and overall policing in the federal capital.
An official told APP on Thursday that the meeting was attended by Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Headquarters Muhammad Atique Tahir, AIG Operations Saud Khan and other senior officers, who reviewed the overall security situation and policing performance.
The official said detailed discussions were held on security arrangements, professional training of police officers and measures to further improve operational preparedness.
The IGP Rizvi directed officers to further strengthen security measures, remain vigilant in the field at all times and ensure the effective protection of citizens.
Rizvi emphasized the importance of continuous professional training and directed officers to maintain the highest standards of discipline, coordination and public service while performing their duties.
