ISLAMABAD, Feb 16 (Online): Islamabad High Court (IHC) has dismissed three petitions being not persuaded by the lawyers.

A single bench of IHC led by Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kiani took up the cases for hearing Tuesday but the petitions were dismissed due to non presence of the lawyers. The lawyers are not persuading the cases being on strike.

One among the petitions related to audit of corona relief fund. The petitioner had requested the court to order for audit of corona funds received by the government.

In a property related case, the petitioner appeared in the court due to non availability of the counsel.

Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kiani inquired from the petitioner where was his counsel.

The petitioner replied his lawyer is on strike , therefore, he has not appeared in the court.

The court dismissed the petition on this reply from the petitioner.

The second petition through which the IB Society elections were challenged was also dismissed being not persuaded by the respective lawyers.
