PESHAWAR, Feb 16 (APP): Al-Shifa Trust Eye Hospital, Kohat provided healthcare facilities to 20886 poor patients since July 2020.
” Since July 2020 till date 20886 patients have been examined and out of them 3408 patients have been operated,” Administrator of the Trust Col(retd) Qudratullah Khan said during a tea party which was hosted in honor of newly elected cabinet members of Kohat Press Club.
He said, ” out of which 2999 were poor and needy patients who have been operated absolutely free of cost.”
He lauded the positive role of Al-Shifa Trust Eye Hospital Kohat and said that it was the only hospital which would continue to treat poor patients even during the outbreak of Corona.
He said OCT machine facility was only available in Shifa Trust Eye Hospital Kohat and added that now patients would not have to bother to go to Peshawar for tests. Poor patients are given priority in Al Shifa Trust Eye Hospital Kohat and they are treated free of cost.
