ISLAMABAD
Islamabad High Court (IHC) while extending restraining order has asked authorities not to arrest PML-N leaders Marriyum Aurangzeb and Javed Latif in the cases registered against them in different areas of Punjab and KP.
The court adjourned hearing of the cases till January 2024.
Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri took up the petitions for hearing.
The court extended its order for not arresting Marriyum Aurangzeb and Javed Latif.
The plaintiff in the case registered against Marriyum Aurangzeb and PTV employees in Peshawar appeared in the court.
The plaintiff gave statement in the court for not initiating any proceedings further.
The investigation officer took the plea challan has been filed in the case registered against Javed Latif in Police station Green Town.
Prosecutor said the case registered against Marriyum Aurangzeb in Peshawar has been shifted to FIA.
According to FIA, the inquiry of the respective case has been closed by it.
The court has adjourned hearing of the case till January 2024.
