IHC grants protective bail to PTI SA member Haleem Sheikh

Islamabad High Court (IHC) has granted protective bail to PTI member of Sindh Assembly (SA) Haleem Adil Sheikh in connection with his harassment petition.

The court has ordered that Haleem Adil Sheikh be not arrested.

The court directed Haleem Adil Sheikh to file surety bonds.

Haleem Adil Sheikh had approached IHC in connection with protective bail and against his possible harassment.

The petitioner had taken the plea PTI is being targeted after change of government. Well placed sources have told that government has decided to teach lesson to party members including him. He is not nominated in FIR regarding blasphemy case. But he can be arrested by including his name in the list of unknown persons.

He prayed the court to issue orders for stopping his illegal harassment besides summoning the record of all FIRs registered against him all over the country.

The bail plea of the petitioner be accepted so that he could appear before the respective court.

The court ordered that Haleem Adil Sheikh be not arrested in blasphemy case besides granting protective bail to him.
