ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has halted the implementation of FIR against the citizen till next hearing. The court while issuing notice has sought reply from the respondents on February 17. Justice Azam Khan of IHC issued these orders on Thursday. Adil Aziz Qazi appeared in the court on behalf of the petitioner. The court while issuing order said as per counsel of the petitioner Additional District and Sessions Judge Islamabad ordered to register case against the petitioner. Case was registered against petitioner Chaudhry Muhammad Usman and others in Khanna police station on the orders of district and sessions judge. The counsel told the court decision of district and sessions judge was challenged in Islamabad High Court (IHC). The court suspended this decision. According to counsel the case had lost its legal position following IHC orders. Despite it illegal FIR was registered against petitioner. FIR registered against the petitioner is suspended. The case will not be effective against the petitioner till the further proceedings of the court. The court adjourned hearing of the case till February 17. ONLINE
