Islamabad High Court (IHC) has ordered for not keeping PTI founder Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi in solitary confinement.
Justice Khadim Hussain Soomro of IHC while declaring the petitions against keeping PTI founder and Bushra Bibi in solitary confinement maintainable wrapped up petitions with directives .
Aleema Khan had resorted to IHC against keeping PTI founder in solitary confinement and Mubashra Khawar Monika against keeping her mother Bushra Bibi in solitary confinement.
The decision also said that Superintendent Jail should ensure Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi are not kept in solitary confinement.
As per jail rules, the meeting of PTI founder with his family be arranged and his telephonic conversation with his sons be arranged.
If audios of PTI founder telephonic conversation with his sons are used for political purpose then this facility be withdrawn.
The court directed to provide news papers and books to Imran Khan on daily basis.. . Medical facilities be provided to Imran Khan as per jail rules.
IHC while declaring the petitions maintainable in accordance with decisions of Nusrat Bhutto case and Begum Shamim Afridi case ordered superintendent Adiala jail to ensure implementation of court›s directives.
The court also directed that implementation report be filed within 15 days.
