IHC rejects protective bail plea of Haleem Adil Sheikh, opposition leader SA

Islamabad High Court (IHC) has rejected protective bail plea of Haleem Adil Sheikh, opposition leader in Sindh Assembly (SA).

The case came up for hearing before a single bench of IHC led by Chief Justice (CJ) Athar Minallah here Wednesday.

Haleem Adil Sheikh approached IHC to seek protective bail to attend Sindh Assembly session.

The CJ IHC remarked during the hearing of the case this court has already granted protective bail in a case. Protective bail for three weeks was granted to Haleem Adil Sheikh and he was to appear before the respective court during this time.

The court while rejecting Haleem Adil Sheikh bail plea directed him to resort to Sindh High Court.
