Impersonator held; two vehicles, cash, fake service card recovered

Islamabad Capital police Anti Robbery and Dacoity Unit (ADRU) police team arrested an impersonator involved in kidnapping and recovered two vehicles, cash, mobile phone, fake service card, fake cap and vehicle used in crime from his possession, the public relations officers said.
He said that, following the special directions of Islamabad Capital City Police officer (ICCPO) Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad Capital Police had categorically started a crackdown against criminal elements in order to save the precious lives and property of citizens.
Following these directions, the Anti Robbery and Dacoity Unit (ADRU) police team arrested an impersonator involved in kidnapping. Police team also recovered two vehicles worth 3.8 million rupees, 03 lac cash, mobile phone, fake service card, fake cap and vehicle used in crime from his possession.
The accused was identified as Muhammad Ismail Khan. Case has been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway. The arrest of the other co-accused is underway.
ICCPO Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan directed the police officials to further intensify the crackdown against the criminal elements. “Safety and security of the citizens is our foremost priority and no laxity will be tolerated in this regard”, he maintained.
