Nikah Khawan Mufti Muhammad Saeed recorded his statement in Islamabad district court in the case of ” non shariah Nikah against Bushra Bibi and Imran Khan.
Mufti Muhammad Saeed Ahmad along with his counsel Raja Rizwan Abbasi appeared in the court of senior civil judge Nasar Minallah Wednesday.
He said in his statement Imran Khan contacted him on call on January 01, 2018. He had good relationship with Imran Khan and he was member of PTI core committee.
He stated ” Imran Khan asked me to solemnize his nikkah with Bushra Bibi. Imran also said to me he has to go to Lahore to solemnize Nikah.
According to Mufti Saeed one lady who was with Bushra Bibi showed her as sister of Bushra Bibi. I asked that lady if the nikah of Bushra Bibi can be solemnized according to Shariah.
The lady told all the shariah conditions of Nikah are complete. The lady told Imran Khan nikah can be solemnized with Bushra Bibi.
Mufti Saeed further said in his statement Imran Khan nikah was solemnized with Bushra Bibi on January 01, 2018 on the assurance of that lady. Imran Khan again contacted me in February 2018 and requested that his nikah with Bushra Bibi `has to be solemnized again.
According to Mufti Saeed the iddat period has not been completed at the time of first nikkah. Imran Khan said Bushra Bibi was divorced in November 2017.
He further stated ” Imran Khan had predicted at the time of Nikah with Bushra Bibi that he would become Prime Minister. Imran Khan told that his first Nikah was non shariah.
Mufti Saeed told Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi held nikah and marriage ceremony despite knowing it all. The nikah of Bushra Bibi and Imran Khan is illegal. This took place due to prediction.
The court adjourned the hearing of the case till April 19.
