Former Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday evening paid a surprise visit to the main Saddar Bazaar in Peshawar without any adequate security and mingled with people.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Mehmood Khan, Pervez Khattak, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Murad Saeed and Ali Amin Gandapur were also along with Imran Khan.
On this occasion, a large number of people gathered and chanted slogans in support of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan and took selfies with Imran Khan.
Earlier a day, PTI chairman Imran Khan had announced his anti-government long march after an important core meeting in Peshawar.
Mr Khan announced May 25 as the starting date of its party march to Islamabad.
He named the march as Azadi March and appealed to all walks of life to take part in the march in large numbers. It has been reported that Imran Khan’s visit to main Sadar Bazar was part of his campaign for the march.
