Federal Minister Sherry Rehman has said Imran Khan once again is striving hard to stay relevant in the politics.
“PTI is creating impression that powers lie only with Imran Khan to dissolve the assembly, she said this in a statement issued here Wednesday.
She went on to say the powers to dissolve the assembly rest with only Chief Minister as per article 112. In Punjab the PML-Q government is in place which is not in favor of dissolution of assembly.
Political options have expired with Imran Khan therefore, he wants to stay relevant by threatening for dissolution of assembly, she remarked.
PTI leaders are saying publicly that there are differences in the party over the matter of dissolution of assemblies. December 20 will pass but the assemblies will remain there. Imran Khan will be seen entreating the institutions.
Imran Khan should persuade his party MNAs to get accept their resignation before dissolving provincial assembly, she observed.
