ISLAMABAD
Former Prime Minister Imran Khan announced on Monday he would serve a Rs 10 billion notice to Chief Election Commissioner Sikander Sultan Raja for “damaging” his reputation. Khan made the announcement while resuming his long march from Kamoke in Punjab. The Election Commission in a unanimous decision this month disqualified the PTI chief for holding membership of the National Assembly in the Toshkhana reference. The PTI chief said the ECE will have to pay the money for the damages caused to him.
He said he will file a case against the ECP chief in a court. Khan said he will give the money to the Shaukat Khanum Hospital, which he said provides free treatment to nearly 70 percent people.
“You have damaged my integrity,” the PTI chief said while addressing the CEC. He again appealed the establishment to abandon support to the present rulers who they had earlier blamed for corruption. He said Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has no powers and he will not talk to him. =DNA
