State Minister for Information and Broadcasting Farukh Habib said Tuesday Imran Khan, the courageous leader of the Muslim Ummah, during his address to the meeting of OIC Foreign Ministers Council, called for unity and joint efforts of 57 Islamic countries of the world to tackle the challenges.
In a tweet, Farrukh remarked that the PM bluntly said that 1.5 billion Muslims of the world should show their strength for peace instead of getting entangled in divisions and conflicts.
“Courageous leader of 57 Muslim countries stressed upon unity of Muslim Ummah and mutual efforts to combat challenges” the State Minister wrote in his tweet, just after the PM addressed inaugural session of the OIC CFM meeting.
“In a very clear manner, [he] told world that Muslims of 57 countries should work for establishment of peace instead of indulging themselves in any disputes or blocks” Farukh further wrote.
