‘Imran tried to make institutions controversial’

Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has said that former Prime Minister Imran Khan tried his best to make institutions controversial and he was under the impression that he would remain premier of the country for the next five years. While addressing the workers’ convention in Sialkot, he said that economy was badly ruined when we came into power. He said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government took historic loans during its tenure. He said the nation suffered inflation during the government of Imran Khan.
He said that Khan knows well that his popularity is diminishing among the masses.
The minister said that Khan has no answer regarding the selling of gifts, adding that audio leaks have exposed corruption of Khan. He said that Imran Khan has greed for power and there is a contrast in his words and actions.
