The Vice President of the Board of Cricket in India (BCCI) Rajeev Shukla has once again hinted that the Indian team may visit Pakistan for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
Addressing the participants of the Uttar Pradesh Premier League, Indian Board President Rajeev Shukla says that possibly the Indian team can visit Pakistan for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, the 2026 One Day World Cup.
He said that Pakistan can say whatever it wants regarding ODI World Cup 2026 but we need government approval to participate in Champions Trophy 2025.
Rajeev Shukla admitted that if India does not travel to Pakistan for the upcoming tournament, there is a strong possibility that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will retaliate. He said that we know that Pakistan will threaten not to come to India to play the Asia Cup, but the board needs to understand that this decision is in the hands of the Indian government and not the BCCI.
