Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Rawalpindi has rejected interim bail of Raja Basharat and Sanam Javed in September, October and November protest cases.
Judge Amjid Ali Shah of ATC took up the cases for hearing Friday.
The court rejected the medical certificate presented from the side of Raja Basharat.
Interim bail of Raja Basharat was rejected in 3 cases related to Attock. The respondents had completed their arguments on interim bail pleas in these three cases.
Prosecutor Zaheer Shah took the plea the accused are hindering the investigation process. There is attitude of influencing court’s proceedings from the accused deliberately. The accused are on bail since 8 months. The bail plea be rejected.
Judge Amjid Ali Shah remarked the bail are pending since 8 months. The bail has been rejected already. The accused are deliberately causing delay in the investigation.
The court dismissed interim bail of Sanam Javed in two cases of Attock.
Medical certificate of Skin specialist from Peshawar was presented from the side of Sanam Javed.
Prosecutor Syed Zahir said the accused has joined the investigation. The presence of the accused in investigation is proved.
The court while agreeing to arguments of prosecution announced the decision of rejecting the bail.
