It has been decided in principle to hand over the management of 1000 schools of Punjab from Muslim Hands Pakistan.
A 6-member delegation of Muslim Hands Pakistan met the Caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab Mohsin Naqvi, Chairman of Muslim Hands Pakistan Syed Lakht Hasnain gave a briefing about welfare activities.
The Caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab was informed in the briefing that Muslim Hands Pakistan is running 117 schools in Punjab, health and education welfare projects are being run in various districts of South Punjab, market-based IT to guide the youth towards self-reliance.
18 schools of excellence and 35 model schools are being run in Punjab.
On this occasion, it was decided in principle to entrust the management of 1,000 schools of Muslim Hands Pakistan to Pakistan.
The Secretary Schools Education was directed to fix the rules and regulations with Muslim Hands Pakistan and to settle the issues regarding the MoU between the Government of Punjab and Muslim Hands Pakistan within a week.
In the meeting, the proposal to entrust the management of orphanages and Darul Aman to Muslim Hands Pakistan was also reviewed.
Caretaker CM said that with the cooperation of private sector and welfare organizations, the standard of education in government schools will be raised, with the cooperation of Muslim Hands Pakistan, consideration will be given to upgrade the emergency rooms of major hospitals.
This will encourage private organizations to improve the education and health sectors.
Chairman Muslim Hands Pakistan Syed Lakht Hasnain has said that they are ready to work together with the Punjab government to serve the people.
Provincial Caretaker Information Minister Aamir Mir, Program Director Khalid Mehmood Qureshi, Syed Javed Jilani, Mian Umar Farooq, Rana Umar, Raja Arsalan Nusrat were present on the occasion.
