Interpol has stopped investigation continuing since the last two years against PTI leader Moonis Elahi.
Moonis Elahi has got a big relief.
Pakistan had requested for handing over Moonis Elahi under criminal charges. Pakistan authorities had said Moonis Elahi is wanted in the cases of murder, fraud and misuse of powers.
According to sources Interpol reviewed the complaints and no evidence was found about involvement of Moonis Elahi in irregularities.
Moonis Elahi who is settled in Barcelona is not on national alert now.
The counsel for Moonis Elahi said clean chit has been given to Moonis Elahi. This is victory of justice. Pakistan authorities embarrassed Moonis Elahi by making cases against him.
