SRINAGAR
In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), strike is being observed today on the occasion of first martyrdom anniversary of senior APHC leader, Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai.
Call for the strike has been given by different Hurriyat organizations to pay tributes to the martyred APHC leader and express solidarity with the martyrs’ families. The Hurriyat organizations have urged people to unite for resolution of the Kashmir dispute.
Senior APHC leader and Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir Chairman, Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai, who challenged India’s illegal hold over Jammu and Kashmir for decades, died in Indian captivity on May 05, last year.
He was not provided with any treatment in Udhampur jail despite suffering from multiple diseases.
