Iranian President vows to strengthen ties with Pakistan in diverse fields

ISLAMABAD : Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has reaffirmed his country’s commitment to strengthen relations with Pakistan in the areas of trade, investment and border management.
He was talking to Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi who called on him at the presidential palace in Tehran on Wednesday.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi in his remarks said both the countries enjoy cordial and strong relations deep rooted in common history, culture, faith and language.
The Foreign Minister thanked the Iranian leadership for consistently supporting the principled stance of Kashmiri people.

He said that Pakistani leadership pays tribute to Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei and president Hassan Rouhani for the persistent support of Iranian government for the standpoint of people of Kashmir.
