Federal government has started making contacts at the highest level in connection with mini budget.
Finance Minister (FM) Ishaq Dar has called on the president Arif Alvi in this regard.
The sources said both of them exchanged views on basic points. They have talked on economic targets and election timeline.
The post IMF package strategy also came under discussion.
According to sources Ishaq Dar took the president into confidence on the formula for formation of balanced budget. President Arif Alvi also gave suggestions.
