ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Egyptian Foreign Minister Dr Badr Abdelatty on Saturday exchanged views on the ongoing situation in the Middle East, particularly the developments in Gaza and Palestine. Ishaq Dar spoke with the Egyptian foreign minister on phone, Foreign Office Spokesperson said in a press release issued in Islamabad. They also discussed regional diplomatic efforts and coordination ahead of the forthcoming Summit scheduled to take place in Sharm el-Sheikh on Monday. Meanwhile, Ishaq Dar also spoke with Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and discussed humanitarian crisis in Gaza. They also exchanged views on the broader efforts by Arab-Islamic countries to promote peace and stability in the region. News Agency
