ISLAMABAD
A new park over 1000 acres will be constructed over one thousand acres at the foot hills of Margalla hills in Islamabad. This was decided in a meeting held under the interior minister Mohsin Naqvi in CDA headquarters.
A detailed review of l the ongoing and future development projects in the federal capital was taken in the meeting.
Mohsin Naqvi said Islamabad has to be made a model city. Facilities of international standard and recreational opportunities will be provided to people.
It was decided in the meeting that five star hotels will be constructed under joint venture with international firms.
Interior minister issued orders for evolving zero tax new hotel policy for investors. It was decided to get conduct complete survey of all land and property of Islamabad by the Survey of Pakistan.
Interior minister directed to appoint marketing team for all auctions in future to ensure participation of maximum investors.
It was decided that the control room for Capital Emergency Services will be established within the Safe City.
Chairman CDA and Chief Commissioner Islamabad, Sohail Ashraf gave a detailed briefing on development projects.
He told that all the data of transfer system of CDA is being digitalized. Digital dash board will be introduced in CDA under one window operation.
