Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) Vice Chairperson, Dr Faiza Rasheed said that the government, which had come in name of change, eliminating corruption and bringing reforms, but neither bring reduction in corruption seen nor carryout accountability despite passage of four years of rule.
However, she said the transparency international report has exposed the performance of the incumbent government.
In the TI survey, she added, around 50 per cent people have declared the rising inflation and unemployment as major cause of the government incompetence.
“We reject all tall claims, which had been made by government for provision of relief to poor masses, and false and groundless commitments to hide its failure, and couldn’t acceptable,”
In a statement issued here on Monday, Dr Faiza said that Prime Minister Imran Khan Niazi gave remarks by comparing Pakistan with other countries, as he called Pakistan as the cheapest country, which is completely untrue.
Giving a reference to a report of the Economists, the QWP leader said that Pakistan in terms of inflation is at fourth number in the world and first position in SAARC countries.
Condemning the recent hike in power tariff, Dr Faiza said the cruel rulers have once again imposed additional burden by increasing electricity rate by Rs4.74 per unit on the head of Fuel Charge, proving that the government is not concerned with miseries of the poor masses.
