LAHORE: Islami Jamiat Talaba’s hooligans on Tuesday attacked the office of Punjab University Institute of Education and Research’s Director Dr Abdul Qayyum Chaudhry and broke the windows, chair and other office paraphernalia. According to the Punjab University spokesperson, Jamiat activists including Shoaib Fakhri, Tayyab Gujjar, Mujtaba, Anis, Zain Shaukat and others can be seen in CCTV footage vandalizing Director IER’s office. He said that Jamiat workers had come to seek permission for a sports program; and Director IER Dr. Abdul Qayyum Chaudhry had asked them to follow the SOPs. In retaliation, Jamiat workers got angry and used foul language with Dr. Abdul Qayyum Chaudhry.
