TIMERGARA: Jamaat-i-Islami chief Senator Sirajul Haq on Saturday asked the leaders and workers of all political parties in Lahore to join the JI Wagah border march on Sunday (today) to record their protest against the Indian atrocities in held Kashmir and give a strong message to the world in favour of innocent Kashmiris.
He was addressing a party members’ congregation at Ahyaul Uloom, Balambat, here. The congregation was also addressed by JI district chief Izazul Mulk and provincial deputy chief Maulana Ismail Khan.
Provincial finance minister Muzaffar Said, MPA Saeed Gul, MNA Yaqub Khan and registered party members from all parts of the district were present on the occasion.
Criticizing the Pakistani rulers, Mr Haq said that there had been one party rule in the country since independence as the ruling parties always represented feudal, industrialist and corrupt class. He said that PML-N and PPP were two faces of the same coin.
About the Indian atrocities, the JI chief said that innocent Muslims were being killed and brutally tortured, but Pakistani rulers had kept criminal silence on the issue. He said the JI would fully support Kashmiris till the freedom of held Kashmir.
He said that the brave Muslims of Pakistan would destroy the Line of Control like the Berlin wall if India did not stop its oppression of the innocent Kashmiris.
The JI chief said that western powers had divided Muslims in ‘Sufi’ Islam and ‘religious’ Islam. He said that global march toward Islamic ‘khilafat’ was continuing and JI was also a part of it.
