Jirga is the only solution to all issues being faced by the citizens and government. The aim of the World Peace Jirga Programme(WPJP)is to promote business and work for the development of peace.
These views were expressed by the head of WPJP Refayatullah alias Khan Baba while addressing on the occasion of oath taking ceremony of WPJP, Torkham committee held in Landi Kotal press club district Khyber on Saturday.
He added that the country being faced various challenges however it could be resolved through dialog and jirga system.
The purpose of WPJP was to play the role of bridge between the government citizens of the country and to assist the various departments to improve trade.
Efforts were under consideration to enhance trade at Torkham border, he remarked.
He urged the Federal government to resolve the matter of repatriation of Internal Displaced Persons (IDPs) Koki Khel tribe in Jamrud that caused suspension of all trade activities at Torkham border for the last three weeks.
WPJP planned to set up a scanner, facilitating the center and health center in Torkham to boost business activities at the border.
He stressed upon the traders and other concerned authorities to join hands with them to make the Torkham a hub of bossiness.
At the end an oath was administered to the five members committee (Jirga) of Torkham border.
