LAHORE: Justice Ali Zia Bajwa of Lahore High Court (LHC) has recused himself from hearing the case against freezing the property of Moonis Elahi and declaring him proclaimed offender and sent the matter to chief justice. A two members bench of LHC comprising Justice Tariq Nadim and Justice Ali Zia Bajwa took up the case for hearing. Qaisra Elahi mother of Moonis Elahi filed the petition on behalf of her son. The petition said son is outside the country and baseless cases have been registered against her. Petition was filed in NAB court against freezing the property of son. NAB court rejected the petition. Court should nullify the decision of freezing assets and declaring Moonis Elahi proclaimed offender. ONLINE
