Father, mother and other relatives of 27 year old youth, who was shot dead on Shamsi road Mardan accused police for mishandling the case and appealed the chief justice of Peshawar high court to conduct a judicial inquiry in the case.
Speaking at a press conference at the Mardan Press Club, Hafiz Shah Hussain, his wife resident of Mohallah Ridi Gul Bahricham said that on the night of 26th May accused Sabir and Tariq resident of Sardahri Charsadda allegedly shot dead his son Kashif in front of KPK hospital at Shamsi road.
They added that later on the investigation officer SI Mushtaq of Hoti police station allegedly received a bribe from the accused and hide the evidence and potage of CCTV cameras and mishandled the case and also crossed the case by registering FIR from the accused side.
They also accused the ASI Mushtaq Naveed and muharar Adnan of City police station and said that the case did not come under the jurisdiction City police station however they took away mobile phone of his son and after the passage of five days they allegedly received bribe from them and handed over mobile phone to them. They argued that due to the weak investigation of the police the court gave bail to accused Sabir in the case.
They demanded the chief justice of Peshawar high court to conduct a judicial inquiry in the case and reinvestigate the case because they are not satisfied with the police investigation.
