Kashmiri leaders express gratitude to Pakistan for observing Exploitation Day

Kashmiri leader and Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement (JKSM) Altaf Ahmed Bhat expressed gratitude to the government and the people of Pakistan for observing August 5th as Exploitation Day.
Chairman JKSM Bhat while addressing the media here said that Pakistan’s observance of Exploitation Day against the illegal, immoral and undemocratic actions of India on 5th August 2019 has once again proved that Pakistan stands side by side with the freedom struggle of Kashmiris.
The purpose of observing Exploitation Day in Pakistan and across the world was to send a message to the Kashmiris that Pakistanis all over the world will continue to support them in freedom struggle.
While appreciating the government of Pakistan Chairman JKSM Bhat said that, Pakistan has encouraged all over the world especially the diaspora community to observe August 5 as Exploitation Day to show solidarity with the oppressed Kashmiris. While Pakistan also condemned the Indian hegemonic agenda, violations of International law and Human Rights, suppression and subjugation of besieged Kashmiris in IIOJ&K.
Chairman JKSM Bhat while praising the valour and commitment of the people of Kashmir to freedom movement said that, Indian repression and violence have failed to weaken the resolve of Kashmiris.
Since August 05, 2019 Indian occupation forces have martyred 662 innocent Kashmiris including 13 women, 38 women widowed and 91 children orphaned, the troops damaged over 1,093 houses and structures and molested or disgraced 125 women and arrested 17,993 people, at least 2,278 people were critically injured due to the use of brute force including the firing of bullets, pellets and teargas shells by Indian troops, paramilitary and police personnel on peaceful demonstrators and mourners in the territory.
While Appreciating and thanking the armed forces of Pakistan for backing Kashmiris political struggle.
Bhat added that Kashmiri people are grateful to the people of Pakistan all over the world and we are sure that Pakistan will not leave Kashmiris alone and at the mercy of India. To draw the world’s attention to Indian atrocities in Occupied Kashmir, protest rallies were held in major cities of Pakistan and around the world.
Observing Exploitation Day yesterday made it clear that every Pakistani is united with oppressed Kashmiris and supports their struggle for freedom.
Occupied Jammu and Kashmir have become the centre of international attention due to Narendra Modi’s illegal move to abrogate Article 370.
With the help of Allah and the support of the people of Pakistan, the people of Occupied Kashmir will emerge victorious in their struggle against Indian occupation. He added.
Chairman JKSM further said that they are grateful to the people around the world who participated in Kashmir Exploitation Day against India on August 5th yesterday on the call of the government of Pakistan.
