ISLAMABAD : Foreign Minister (FM) Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said Pakistan has fully implemented action plan to his view and there is no justification to keep it in grey list now and if the objective behind it is hanging sword then it is a separate thing.

In a statement issued here Wednesday he said FATF is a technical forum and Pakistan has met all technical formalities to this effect.27 action items were given and we have completed our work on 26 out of these items. Vigorous work has been done on 27th point as well.

He held no justification remains to keep Pakistan in grey list in the prevailing situation. If the purpose behind it is hanging sword on Pakistan then it is a different matter. We see what decision is taken in the meeting.

He underlined that India should not be allowed to use this forum for political purposes.

Pakistan took concrete steps to curb money laundering and financing terrorism, he said adding grey list gift was inherited by us. We made all possible efforts to get remove Pakistan from grey list. The world is acknowledging that such solid steps which have been taken by the present government were never launched by any government in past.

To me Pakistan has fully implemented action plan, he remarked. Foreign office has presented clear stance in this regard. Several countries have acknowledged Pakistan stance. We want Pakistan is excluded from grey list and included in white list.
