Khalil Gymkhana defeated Islamia Star Cricket Club by 11 runs in the match of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Veteran Inter-Club Cricket Championship being played here at Gymkhana Ground on Wednesday.
Khalil Gymkhana, playing first, got the entire team out for 176 runs. Altaf scored 73 and Noorul Haq 38 runs. For Islamia Star, Bilal Shah got three wickets, Noman Sher got two wickets while Ziarat and Shafiullah got one wicket each.
In reply, Islamia Star were bowled out for 165 in the 29th over. Bilal Shah (71), Fahad (25) and Mohammad Saleem (22) stood out. For Khalil Gymkhana, Saadullah took three wickets, Babar and Umair two wickets each, Mustafa and Irfan one wicket each. Shehzad Ahmad Shah and Imtiaz Hussain were the umpires and Nadeem Akhtar was the scorer.
