KHYBER: A bid of kidnapping of a girl child was foiled and a group of six persons was detained here in Speen kabr, Sipah of Bara, district Khyber on Saturday. Providing details, station house officer (SHO) Bara police station Shashad Afridi said that on public complaint that a group of abductors comprising four women and two men was active in the area and had kidnapped a local girl. The police started patrolling and a suspected qingqi vehicle was taken into custody for investigation. Observing the presence of police in the surrounding area, they set free the minor girl, they kidnapped, the abductors confessed. Case was registered against the culprits and was put behind the bars for further investigation, SHO said. Our Correspondent
