Kidnapping bid foiled, man rescued in Kandhkot

A person hailing from Karachi was rescued from being kidnapped within the jurisdiction of Katcha area of Kandhkot here on Wednesday.
According to Kashmore police spokesman, police have foiled a bid of kidnapping by technical support especially District Intelligence Branch (DIB) Kashmore. When this scribe contacted to Kashmore Police Chief Amjad Ahmed Sheikh said that Nadeem Ahmed resident of Sohrab Ghoath Karachi lured to Kandhkot by promise of marriage with a woman who had remained contacted with him through cellphone.
He said there is a newly trend of kidnapping by the voice of women originated by various notorious gangs in Kashmore and it’s adjoining areas. He warned the citizens to be careful from such grey and deceptive calls from unknown numbers that may lure you to any remote location and carry high risks of kidnapping.
It is pertinent to mention that the law and order situation of Kashmore have been recently improved after taking charge of SSP Amjad Sheikh. However cases of kidnapping for ransom, robberies, dacoities and theft have been reduced manifold.
