A dispute between key educational stakeholders in Kohat was amicably resolved following a high-level reconciliation meeting chaired by the Commissioner Kohat Division Syed Motasim Billah Shah.
The meeting, held at the Commissioner’s Office, brought together representatives of the Government Postgraduate College Kohat and the Chairman of the Kohat Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education to address misunderstandings that had recently strained relations between the two institutions.
During detailed discussions, both sides openly presented their positions and agreed to settle their differences in the broader interest of students and the education sector.
Participants pledged to prioritize the academic welfare of students and avoid similar disputes in the future. They also reaffirmed their commitment to maintain cooperation and work jointly to improve educational standards in the region.
Speaking on the occasion, Commissioner Shah welcomed the reconciliation, describing it as a positive step toward institutional stability and harmony. He emphasized that educators and academic leaders serve as role models in society and should promote patience, tolerance and mutual respect.
“Coordination and understanding among educational institutions are essential not only for the development of the province but also for the broader national interest,” he said.
Officials described the development as a significant milestone for strengthening educational stability and administrative coordination across the Kohat Division.
