PESHAWAR
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) cabinet is all set to meet for its 64th sitting on Tuesday (today) with a lengthy 33 -point agenda focusing on the approval of Drafts, Acts, and Bills presented by different provincial departments.
The cabinet meeting to be chaired by Chief Minister Mehmood Khan is expected to approve ‘ The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa transgender Person’s Welfare Endowment Fund Bill, 2021’ and ‘ Approval of Draft Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Home-Based Workers (Welfare and Protection) Rules,2021.’
The cabinet is also supposed to approve the draft KP prohibition of employment of Children Rules, 2021 and draft KP maternity benefits rules, 2021.
Both of the drafts have been presented to the cabinet by the department of Labour.
The cabinet will also consider two notifications including establishment of Risk Management Unit (RMU) and establishment of viability GAP Fund (VGF) in the finance department.
Policy framework for the autonomous bodies and public sector companies of KP is also being considered in the cabinet meeting.
One of the most important agendas which the cabinet is likely to approve in the upcoming meeting is the proposed amendments in Provincial Ministers KP province (Salaries, Allowances & Privileges) Act, 1975.
The KP cabinet will also consider approval in the Civil Servants Amendment Bill, 2021.
