KP Caretaker CM takes notice of chicken pox outbreak

Caretaker Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Muhammad Azam Khan has taken notice of the outbreak of chicken pox disease in the remote village of Harchin of Upper Chitral district and directed the Advisor on Health Dr Riaz Anwar to take measures for its prevention, said an official handout issued here on Friday.
The Chief Minister has directed the Advisor on Health to take effective measures on an emergency basis to treat the girl students of the government school of Harchin village affected by the disease through the concerned district administration and the district health department and to prevent further spread of the disease in the area.
He has further directed the utilization of all available resources to prevent its further spread.
The Chief Minister has further directed that special medical teams should be sent to the area for the treatment of the affected girls and special arrangements should be made for monitoring the disease so as to prevent its further spread.
