Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs, Science and Information Technology Atif Khan has said that the provincial government is promoting more women participation in the various games as they have always contributed for the betterment of sports.
Atif Khan expressed these views here on Thursday during a meeting with the representative delegation of Pakistan Girls Guides Association Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Secretary Tourism, Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs Tahir Orakzai and other relevant officials also attended the meeting.
“The provincial government has taken several measures for the development of women as we believe that no nation can claim to be developed unless its women are educated and developed,” Atif Khan added.
