Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government spokesperson Barrister Mohammad Ali Saif has categorically dismissed rumors of a “deal” concerning the release of PTI chairman wife and former first lady Bushra Bibi, calling them unfounded propaganda spread by political opponents. In a statement, Barrister Saif clarified that her release was not due to any deal or compromise.
He stated that those who engage in deals, such as the Sharif family, typically seek refuge abroad in places like London or Saudi Arabia. In contrast, Bushra Bibi faced the fabricated charges with resilience and did not leave the country.
The advisor condemned the rumors spread by opponents, labeling them baseless and a projection of their own aspirations, unrelated to reality. He noted that even during the most challenging times, Bushra Bibi remained a pillar of strength and determination for PTI founder Imran Khan.
Barrister Saif further emphasized that Bushra Bibi’s arrest was a tactic to pressure Imran Khan; however, she only grew stronger, reinforcing Khan’s resolve during these difficult times.
