KP govt extends financial aid to ailing Pashto comedian Mirawais

PESHAWAR: Advisor to the Chief Minister for Tourism, Culture, Archaeology, and Museums, Zahid Chenzeb, visited the hospital to inquire about the health of renowned Pashto comedian Mirawais and prayed for his speedy recovery. On behalf of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, Zahid Chenzeb presented a financial assistance check of Rs 500,000 to Mirawais and assured full support for his family. He emphasized that artists are a valuable asset, and their welfare remains a priority. He also announced that, on the directives of CM Ali Amin Gandapur, a special endowment fund for artists will be launched soon to ensure permanent financial support for the province’s artists. The KP government remains committed to preserving cultural heritage and improving artists’ livelihoods, he added. DLP Report
